We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Hazel's Apothecary. Because all of our products are digital downloads delivered instantly by email, this policy explains how both returns and refunds work.
A note about returns
All Hazel's Apothecary products are digital downloads (ebooks and similar digital files). There is no physical item to send back, so traditional "returns" do not apply. Instead, our 14-day satisfaction guarantee below acts as your return and refund mechanism: if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a refund within 14 days, and there is nothing you need to ship back.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of your order date.
To request a refund, please email us at contact@metastoresllc.com with:
- Your order number
- The email address used at checkout
- A brief note about why the product didn't meet your expectations
We review every request individually and respond within 3 business days.
Approved refunds
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. The exact arrival time depends on your bank or card issuer.
We will email you a confirmation once the refund has been processed.
What we ask of you
Because our products are digital and can be downloaded immediately after purchase, we ask that refund requests are made in good faith. We may decline refund requests in the following cases:
- Orders placed more than 14 days ago
- Customers who have previously received multiple refunds from us
- Orders linked to a payment dispute or chargeback already filed with the cardholder's bank
Right of withdrawal (EU and UK customers)
Under EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(m) (and equivalent UK regulations), digital content delivered without a physical medium is exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal, provided the customer has expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged loss of withdrawal rights.

- Expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content
- Acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once delivery begins
Our 14-day satisfaction guarantee above goes beyond the legal minimum and applies regardless of your country of residence.
Processing fees
Payment processing fees charged by Shopify Payments, Stripe, or PayPal on the original transaction are non-refundable. Approved refunds are issued for the product amount you paid, minus any non-refundable processor fees if applicable.
Damaged or undelivered products
If you did not receive your download link, or if the download is corrupted, please contact us immediately at contact@metastoresllc.com with your order number and we will resend the files at no charge.
